On December 27, the annual Ice and Snow Carnival kicked off at three municipal parks in Beijing: Taoranting, Yuyuantan and Zizhuyuan. This year, more than 20 varieties of snow events, represented by penguin parading, snow tubing, cherry blossom viewing mini-trains and snow mazes, are presented for visitors to revel in celebration of the upcoming New Year's Day and the Spring Festival.
The Taoranting Ice and Snow Carnival is celebrating its 15th grand gathering, offering visitors a diverse range of activities such as penguin parading and clown performances. The snow tubes and big castle ice slides are all equipped with magic carpets to ease physical exhaustion in merrymaking.
