The check-in time limit for international flights at Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport has been adjusted from 60 minutes prior to departure to 50 minutes, starting today. The check-in deadline for Chinese domestic flights remains unchanged at 40 minutes prior to departure.
Additionally, the 2024 summer-autumn flight schedule of Hangzhou International Airport will be implemented from March 31. The airport plans to increase flight capacity by 10% compared to the summer-autumn season of 2023, with the peak days expected to see over 1,000 daily flights.
The airport continues to expand international routes to destinations like Singapore, Bangkok, Kota Kinabalu, and Phuket. At the same time, it also plans to introduce direct flights to Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Kalibo in the Philippines, and Phu Quoc Island in Vietnam. On the Chinese domestic routes, flights to popular cities such as Xi'an and Kunming will be increased, while the average number of daily flights to Beijing, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen is set to exceed 30 per day.
Hangzhou International Airport currently operates two terminals, T3 and T4. T4 handles all International and Hong Kong/Macau/Taiwan Flights, as well as flights operated by China Eastern Airlines, Southern Airlines, Sichuan Airlines, and Chongqing Airlines. T3 handles Chinese domestic flights except for those of the above mentioned four companies.
For passengers without checked baggage on Chinese domestic flights, they can choose self-service check-in at the airport or online check-in via cellphone. For passengers with checked baggage or traveling on international flights, they still need to proceed to the check-in counter.
