Registration now open for 2026 Shanghai Women's Half Marathon

Shanghai will once again welcome thousands of runners this spring as the 2026 Shanghai Women's Half Marathon returns on March 8, coinciding with International Women's Day. Registration for the race is now open. Details are outlined below.

Finish point: Gate 3 of Zhongshan Park (Wanhangdu Road), Changning district

Number of participants: 8,000

Registration guide
Registration opens at 10 am on Jan 9 and closes at noon on Jan 12.
Participants can log in to the official website of Shanghai Marathon, click on the 2026 Shanghai Women's Half Marathon section on the homepage, and proceed to the registration page.
The lottery results will be announced on Jan 22. Selected runners must complete payment before 3 pm on Jan 25 to confirm their entry.
The registration fee is 150 yuan ($21.48) per person.

Special services
At the finish line in Zhongshan Park, runners who complete the race will be greeted by staff members presenting fresh flowers.
A dedicated refreshment zone will offer fine pastries and beverages to help runners replenish energy and recover after the race.
A beauty and styling area with professional makeup artists and hairstylists will be available to help runners refresh their look after finishing.
An interactive photo zone will also be set up, allowing participants to join fun activities and capture memorable finish line moments.
