Coming Soon: 'Da Yan Jing' Ferris Wheel Set to Open Later This Month!

The "Da Yan Jing" (literally "Beijing's Big Eye") Ferris wheel in Beijing Happy Valley will officially open to the public on June 27.

As a new landmark launched for the park's 20th anniversary, the Ferris wheel is set to be a hit from the start. It has set a new record as the highest Ferris wheel in Beijing, becoming the most eye-catching landmark along the southeastern 4th Ring Road.

Standing around 99 meters tall, the Ferris wheel is fitted with 46 cabins that can accommodate up to 460 passengers at one time. A full rotation lasts 20.5 minutes, offering riders a panoramic view of the entire city.

In addition, each cabin is equipped with air conditioning and a ventilation system, maintaining a constant temperature between 21℃ and 25℃ and comfortable humidity. It is a perfect retreat from the summer heat, ensuring a cool and pleasant ride whether on sunny, cloudy or rainy days.

There are three cabin types: double-door, single-door, and customized VIP cabins. The VIP option includes 10 themed designs. These cabins moving skyward are all ideal for family outings, romantic dates, team-building activities, and solo relaxation.

Far above the ground, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Beijing's urban area: bustling business districts, lush greenery, and the expansive beauty of Beijing Happy Valley … You can admire the blue sky and city vibes by day, capture stunning sunsets at dusk, and marvel at the twinkling city lights at night.
