China’s National Day holiday is finally here. From music festivals and flower fields to markets and night tours along the Grand Canal, Hangzhou has plenty of activities ready for a fun-filled holiday. This holiday, step out and enjoy a music festival, explore an autumn market, or take in the sights and sounds of the season among the mountain springs and along the Grand Canal.
The 2026 Tianmu Mountain Music Festival

Location: Tianmu Future Valley, Lin’an

Make your National Day holiday a musical one! The 2026 Tianmu Mountain Music Festival brings together international artists behind global hits and well-known Chinese musicians. With a diverse lineup of musical styles, the festival will offer two days of live music surrounded by the natural beauty of Tianmu Mountain.
“Moonge” Flower Field-Themed National Debut Exhibition

Location: Opposite the West Drop-off Area and Lixiang Block, Hangzhou Asiad MixC World

Hangzhou Asiad MixC World is celebrating its first anniversary with a sea of sunflowers covering a vast area. In partnership with popular international IP Moonge, the venue is also hosting the first national exhibition of its flower-themed collection. More than 10 adorable Moonge installations are scattered throughout Lixiang Block, making it a fun place to explore and capture some autumn vibes.
Autumn Traditional Market at Hupao Park
Date: Now–October 7
Location: Hupao Park

A traditional market has come to the forests of Hupao. As part of the “Celebrating the Nation, Peace Across the Land” Mid-Autumn and National Day cultural event, the market features Song-style crafts, local cultural products, and handmade goods. Take a leisurely stroll through the park, following the sound of the spring and the scent of osmanthus, and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of autumn.

From October 1–6, seven traditional-style NPC characters will also appear in the park, bringing visitors an immersive interactive experience. Meet characters such as flower sellers and the Flower Goddess, take part in interactive quizzes, and you may even receive a special “Hupao Souvenir Card.”
Xinwan Sports Park National Day Market & Music Carnival

Location: Xinwan Sports Park

Food, entertainment and fun all in one place! The Xinwan Sports Park National Day Market & Music Carnival features Sichuan opera face-changing, magic shows, trendy Chinese-style dances and live performances, along with local snacks and activities for children. Come and enjoy a lively Chinese-style carnival this holiday and experience a different side of the festive season.
Grand Canal Mid-Autumn Night: A Chill Autumn Stroll

Date: Now–October 7
Location: Seven neighborhoods along the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal
This autumn, the Grand Canal is inviting visitors on a moon-themed journey. During the event, you can explore moon-themed photo spots, write poems at the “Moon Poetry” stalls, and meet the “Moon Seller” NPCs for poetry games and gifts. There are also music events and markets at Doumiao Street and Beiguan, offering plenty of ways to enjoy an autumn stroll along the canal. Some areas will also feature traditional moon-worship ceremonies, sky lanterns, Chinese-style parades and illuminated night scenes. As night falls, take a walk along the canal and enjoy Hangzhou’s autumn night under the moonlight.
