A company specialized in international trade and consulting, it's business scope focused on international buniess between China and the Middle East.
The International Trade Manager oversees and expands the company’s global trade operations, with a focus on building strong commercial ties between the Middle East, China. The role requires a strategic professional fluent in cross-cultural business communication, trade compliance, and international negotiations. The ideal candidate is an Arabic native speaker with strong command of Chinese (Mandarin) and English, capable of managing import/export activities, supplier relations, and trade documentation.
Responsibilities:
1. Trade Operations & Management
- Manage and coordinate all import and export processes.
- Supervise trade documentation including contracts, invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
- Build a strong network with logistics partners, customs brokers, and freight forwarders to ensure efficient shipment and delivery.
2. Market Development & Sourcing
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and trade partners in China and other international markets.
- Conduct market research and feasibility studies for new products, suppliers, and distribution channels.
- Negotiate terms of trade, pricing, and supply agreements to ensure competitive advantage.
3. Communication & Relationship Management
- Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, and business delegations.
4. Management
- Supervise and manage international trade team
5. Strategic Planning & Reporting
- Contribute to the company’s international expansion strategy and trade policies.
- Prepare trade performance reports and suggest improvements in efficiency and profitability.
- Stay updated on global market trends, trade policies, and bilateral agreements affecting business operations.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in International Trade, Business Administration, Economics, or any related field.
Languages:
- Native Arabic speaker
- Excellent command of Chinese (Mandarin) – both written and spoken
- High proficiency in English – for business correspondence and reporting
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in international trade, import/export management, project management or global sourcing.
- Proven experience working with Chinese suppliers or clients.
- Familiarity with Middle Eastern markets and customs regulations.
Technical & Professional Skills:
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of international shipping terms (Incoterms), trade finance, and logistics management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Office, and digital trade platforms (e.g., Alibaba, Made-in-China).
- Excellent intercultural communication and relationship-building skills.
Personal:
- Must be living in Beijing
- Having a driver's license is preferred
