Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital Tongji University was founded in 1933, which is a modern grade-3A specialized hospital integrating medical, teaching and scientific research functions, ranking among the top 100 hospitals in China for consecutive years.
The hospital covers an area of 101,000 square meters, with 1000 beds. It has three national key clinical specialties, including thoracic surgery, respiratory department and occupational disease department, as well as several municipal key disciplines. It is the most extensive respiratory disease specialty hospital in China.
We have successively presided over and participated in major special projects of the Ministry of science and technology, National Natural Science Foundation of China and other national research projects, and won various science and technology awards such as the second prize of national science and Technology Progress Award and the first prize of Shanghai Science and technology progress award.
