At present, the Group is operating institutions, schools, and branches or representative offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Nanjing, Jinan, Hefei, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, the United States and the United Kingdom.
Position Summary:
This position is a core professional role within the AST Examination and Evaluation System, responsible for the liaison of international examination services, coordination of test development, and delivery of assessment research. As the key point of contact for Cambridge Assessment International Education, you will oversee the discipline-specific test development panels for the AST Examination, and conduct dedicated research in educational measurement and examination evaluation. This ensures the scientific rigor of the examination, smooth alignment with international standards, and continuous refinement of the evaluation system.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
1.Serve as the key liaison between the AST examination project and Cambridge Assessment, managing daily communication and coordination on exam design, standard alignment, and quality control.
2.Organize and participate in Sino-British technical meetings to facilitate effective alignment and implementation of assessment concepts, standards, and processes.
3.Manage receipt, interpretation, and internal translation of Cambridge Assessment-related documents, standards, and data.
4.Oversee and coordinate the work plans, progress, and quality of AST examination proposition teams across disciplines (Math, English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, IT, etc.).
5. Organize proposition workshops and review meetings as needed to ensure alignment with exam syllabuses, educational measurement standards, and international benchmarks.
6.Review two-way specification tables, test items, and scoring criteria for all disciplines to guarantee scientificity, fairness, and standardization.
7.Conduct analysis on test difficulty, discrimination, reliability, and validity using exam data; compile quality analysis reports.
8.Track cutting-edge theories/technologies in educational measurement and evaluation globally to drive innovation in assessment methods.
9.Undertake standard-based exam evaluation research to provide empirical evidence and recommendations for curriculum and exam reforms.
10.Develop and manage progress, resources, and risks for AST exam assessment-related projects; coordinate internal resources (proposition teachers, IT support, exam administration) for efficient exam preparation.
11.Participate in standardized test scoring, score report interpretation, and result release as required.
Qualifications:
Requirements:
1.PhD in Educational Measurement, Psychology (Measurement Track), Statistics & Assessment, Curriculum & Evaluation, or related fields.
2. Proficient in mainstream measurement theories (CTT, IRT) with the ability to conduct independent assessment research.
3. Exceptional bilingual (Chinese-English) communication and writing abilities, capable of handling international meetings, English emails, and report drafting.
4.Strong project management, organizational coordination, and cross-team collaboration skills; rigorous logic and attention to detail.
5.At least 2 years of relevant experience in examination institutions, educational assessment departments, university assessment centers, or international education organizations preferred.
6.Experience collaborating with international assessment bodies (e.g., Cambridge Assessment, Pearson) and familiarity with their systems and operational processes preferred.
7.Publications on educational measurement or exam evaluation in core domestic/international journals, or experience in R&D of large-scale assessment projects preferred.
8.Certain disciplinary background (e.g., science, economics, IT) and the ability to understand multi-disciplinary proposition logic preferred.
9.Strong sense of responsibility, awareness of confidentiality, and professional ethics.
10.Possess strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to tackle complex challenges.
11.Quick learner, passionate about the cause of educational evaluation, and committed to striving for excellence.
