Tianjin International Center for Nanoparticles and Nanosystems (TICNN) is a newly constructed modern international institute affiliated to Tianjin University, which was inaugurated at August 22th 2018. TICNN is committed to creating an innovative and international academic environment, as well as building a new type of international research center aiming for performing world-class research and serving as a high-end scientific and technological training platform. The research mainly focus on studies of low dimension condense matter physics, chemistry and innovation of relevant characterization methodology and tools, including graphene electronics, cluster physics, nanocatalysis and flexible electronics.
Postdoc, Research scientist, Assistant/Associate Professorships of condensed matter physics, electronic engineering, instrument science and technology, optoelectronics and photonics technology or optics and laser technology
Responsibilities:
1. Participate in the daily scientific research and maintenance of large precision instruments of the Center.
2. Scientific research work: engage in relevant research on nanoscience and technology under the leadership of relevant project leaders, undertaking scientific research projects, and actively apply for relevant research funding.
3. Social services: Assisted the Center in organizing academic conferences and supervising graduate students.
4. Discipline construction: Participate in the construction of disciplines, laboratories.
5. According to current and future development needs, the research direction of this recruitment is as follows:
Condensed matter physics, including cluster physics, 2D materials physics and their based electronics and optoelectronic devices
Materials sciences, including low dimensional materials growth, characterizations and applications, flexible electronics related materials (thin film, nanoparticles and nanotubes as well as their composite) and related nano/micro fabrication technology
Chemistry, catalysis, electrochemistry, sensing related chemistry and material synthesis for flexible thermoelectronics.
Qualifications:
1. Experiences in nano or micro fabrication;
2. PhD in science or engineering;
3. Excellent in communication;
4. Strong background in any of condensed matter physics, electronic engineering, instrument science and technology, optoelectronics, photonics technology or optics and laser technology;
5. Excellent in English speaking, and writing.
6. Hard-working, responsible, healthy, age of 45 or less.
