Job Profile:

Groundup.ai is seeking a driven and proactive Business Development Executive based in Guangzhou, China. You will identify opportunities, build client relationships, and drive growth initiatives within the region.

Job Details:

Responsibilities:

1. Identify, prospect, and build relationships with potential clients and partners in Guangzhou and surrounding areas.

2. Understand client business needs and provide tailored AI + IoT solutions from Groundup.ai’s portfolio.

3. Represent the company in business meetings, conferences, and industry events.

4. Work closely with internal teams to prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations.

5. Support marketing campaigns locally and contribute to lead generation strategies.

6. Provide regular market insights and competitor analysis.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

2. At least 2 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in tech/SaaS/AI-IoT.

3. Strong communication and negotiation skills.

4. Fluency in Mandarin and conversational English is a must.

5. Familiarity with the Guangzhou business ecosystem is a plus.
