Beautiful Hainan Sanya has a beautiful campus - Sanya Overseas Chinese School. It was founded 2009 and originally named Hainan Overseas Chinese Middle School Sanya School. In 2014, it was renamed to its current Sanya Overseas Chinese School, which is a private school directly under the Sanya Municipal Education Bureau.
Our school currently has two campuses, Danhu and Nan, and four departments (high school, junior high school, elementary school, and international department), all located in the city center of Sanya, with convenient transportation, clean and environment, and complete facilities. The two campuses have more than a hundred teaching classes, nearly 4,500 students, nearly 400 Chinese and foreign teachers and, including various special-grade, senior, intermediate teachers, backbone teachers at all levels of provinces and cities, and discipline leaders, which has laid a solid foundation for the improvement of quality of education and teaching.
In September 2018, our school's Danhu campus introduced a Singaporean education management team and created the Qiongxin with elements of Sino-Singapore integration, implementing small class teaching. Drawing on the experience of Singapore's excellent school management and talent training model, it integrates the advantages of's basic education with the advantages of Singapore's advanced education concepts, forming its own school characteristics.
In September 2021, our school's Nanxin created the Canadian International High School Program. Students are registered in both Chinese and Canadian high school diplomas after enrollment, and a dual-track training and small class teaching are implemented. completing three years of high school education, students can obtain both Chinese and Canadian high school graduation certificates, and can apply for higher education institutions in countries and regions including the United Kingdom the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, etc.
In 2025, the school introduced a new excellent management team and a number of national excellent backbone teachers, laying a solid talent foundation for the school's new development. 1、 Basic qualification requirements
Nationality and Language: Applicants are usually required to be foreign nationals whose native language is English, with priority given to those from English speaking countries such as the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. ‌
Education and major: Generally, a bachelor's degree or above is required, with a major background in English, education, linguistics, and other related fields. Some high-end or international course positions may require a master's degree or a specific language teaching certificate (such as TESOL/TOEFL). ‌
Legitimate employment qualifications: The employing institution must have the qualification to hire foreign teachers issued by the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, and apply for a legal work visa (Z visa) and a "Foreigner Work Permit" for the foreign teachers. ‌
2、 Teaching ability and experience requirements
Core teaching skills: Requires a solid foundation in English language, proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing teaching, and mastery of modern teaching methods and techniques. Familiar with the application of multimedia and online education platforms. ‌
Specialized teaching ability: Depending on the teaching target, corresponding expertise is required.
Work experience: Requires 1-3 years or more of relevant English teaching experience.
