Job Profile:

Evira is seeking native English-speaking trainers for part-time, freelance and project-based corporate assignments in Guiyang and other locations in China.

We welcome applications from experienced corporate or Business English trainers as well as highly experienced English teachers with the professional capability to work with adult corporate clients.

Assignments may include Business English, professional communication, presentations, meetings, negotiations, networking, workplace communication, hospitality English, customer-facing English and other communication-focused corporate programs.
Some assignments will be primarily language-focused, while others may combine English-language development with professional communication and business skills.

This is a part-time / freelance / project-based role rather than a conventional full-time teaching position.

Job Details:

Responsibilities:

- Deliver professional, engaging training sessions for adult corporate participants
- Deliver Business English, workplace communication and related professional-skills programs according to assignment requirements
- Prepare appropriately for each client assignment and become familiar with provided training materials
- Adapt delivery to participant language level, professional background and client requirements
- Facilitate practical activities, discussions, role plays and other interactive learning
- Provide professional feedback to participants when appropriate
- Communicate with Evira regarding program preparation, delivery and participant needs
- Maintain professional standards when representing Evira at client locations
- Be available for occasional project-based assignments and, where agreed, domestic travel

Qualifications:

- Native English speaker
- Strong adult-training or English-teaching experience
- Experience working with adult learners, professionals, managers or corporate clients preferred
- Strong classroom presence and participant-engagement skills
- Ability to create practical, communicative and professionally relevant sessions
- Professional appearance and communication style
- Ability to adapt materials to participant level and client requirements
- Basic spoken Chinese sufficient for everyday communication and local coordination
- Reliable and able to work independently on project-based assignments

Relevant backgrounds may include Business English, corporate English training, adult English training, university teaching, executive English, IELTS/advanced English, international schools, hospitality or service English, and professional communication.

Previous corporate-training experience is preferred but not essential. Experienced English teachers with suitable professional skills and an interest in transitioning into corporate training are encouraged to apply.

CELTA, DELTA, TEFL/TESOL or similar qualifications are useful, but relevant experience and professional capability are more important than certification alone.
