Job Profile:

We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Ocean Freight Operations Coordinator to join our team in Guangzhou.
The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating international ocean freight shipments, communicating with suppliers, shipping agents, and our office in Argentina, managing bookings and shipping documentation, and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate daily ocean freight operations, mainly FCL shipments.
Communicate with shipping lines, booking agents, suppliers, warehouses, and overseas partners.
Maintain regular communication with our office in Argentina.
Arrange and follow up on shipping bookings, schedules, and cargo readiness.
Prepare, check, and coordinate shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, Shipping Instructions, and export documents.
Monitor shipments and proactively provide status updates.
Coordinate with suppliers and agents to resolve operational issues and avoid delays.
Maintain accurate shipment records and ensure proper documentation and follow-up.
Support the team in improving operational efficiency and customer service.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in ocean freight operations or international freight forwarding (mandatory).
Good knowledge of FCL bookings, shipping procedures, and export documentation.
Strong spoken and written English skills (mandatory).
Fluent Mandarin Chinese.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
Responsible, proactive, reliable, and able to work independently.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
Strong interest in a stable, long-term position.
Previous experience working with international customers or overseas offices is an advantage.
