The "professional supervisor and primary guardian of staff morale" for all ES (English specialists--foreign teachers). This role reports directly to the Head of the Academic Department at HQ. Responsibilities include professional management of foreign teachers, ECA (extra curriculum) implementation, staff morale system design, and the selection and supervision of City-based Foreign Teacher Liaisons.
Responsibilities:
Responsibility Area Core Content
ECA Implementation: Promoting and coordinating ECA sign-ups, scheduling and gathering feedback
Staff Morale: 1v1 check-ins, Coffee Talk, Social Events, birthday celebrations, onboarding support, morale surveys
Liaison Management: Selection and training, monthly meetings, performance oversight, stipend processing
Academic Coordination: Collaborate with Regional Academic Leaders to ensure teaching standards are met
Culture Integration: Integrate ECA participation into KPIs, organize ECA awards and carnival, promote outstanding teachers
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or above; TESOL, Linguistics, or English Education preferred
5+ years of experience in foreign staff management or academic management in international schools
Strong cross-cultural communication and empathy skills
Fluent in both English and Chinese preferred (working language)
Willingness to travel between cities (2-3 times per month)
