Xing Wei College is the first private, non-profit, liberal-arts college in modern, mainland China. We strive to offer an education that is unique. Combining our three-word motto – freedom, passion, conscience – with an emphasis on learning by doing, we seek to cultivate, in particular, social and emotional growth of students in a supportive, highly engaged community of mentorship.

We are a very selective college. Our community, including students, faculty, and staff is about 100 individuals, and we plan to expand in a controlled manner over the coming years. Our spacious campus is located about 15 miles outside the center of Shanghai and offers natural beauty along with modern dormitories, comfortable teaching facilities, and welcoming support staff.

Our college is progressive, experimental, and non-traditional. One of our defining elements is that students play decisive roles in school management, including making judgments about personnel and budgets. We are now seeking to hire new faculty members to join our community and to contribute to its development.

While start date and salary are negotiable, and salary is very competitive.
