Optical engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the design optimization of imaging optical paths for new products, able to use ZEMAX for optical path simulation and emulation, data collection and analysis;
2. Responsible for color module, color mixing system and other color calibration analysis, experience in LED packaging and LED screen color calibration is preferred;
3. Responsible for the design and application evaluation of commercial lighting and LED home lighting system solutions, with priority given to those who have worked in related industries such as cultural tourism lighting and projection;
4. Responsible for the design and simulation of Fresnel lenses or TIR, proficient in using tracpro and lightools software;
5. Be able to select LEDs and lenses according to different project requirements, meeting the requirements of relevant angles and other optical parameters;
6. According to project requirements, import and maintain relevant technical documents through the PLM system, while developing and submitting necessary information, and completing the relevant content of standardized materials;
7. During the project, relevant technical personnel can be organized to hold meetings to discuss the improvement and refinement of related technologies;
8. Properly collect market information, understand market trends, develop/collect new optical materials, structures, methods, and introduce them into product design;
9. Participate in the process of improving the optical structure of old products, and apply the summary and suggestions of external complaints to newly designed products;
10. After the project is completed, prepare a technical summary and hand it over to the patent engineer to provide assistance in drafting their patent.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree or above in Optical Engineering, Optical Information Science and Technology, or related majors, as required by the National College Entrance Examination;
2. More than 2 years of relevant work experience, with experience in imaging optics, secondary light distribution, color mixing systems, and other related fields;
3. Ability to design, test, and improve optical lenses, with a certain level of analytical skills in color mixing and calibration;
4. Proficient in using optical analysis software such as lightlloos, Zemax, etc;
5. Strong innovation ability, logical analysis ability, and teamwork spirit;
6. Experience in the lighting industry is preferred.
