Job Profile:

1. Proofread, edit and evaluate the translated articles from translators;
2. Provide training, guidance, consulting and other relevant services to translators.

Job Details:

Responsibilities:

1. Only native English speakers from an English-speaking country;
2. An eligible applicant shall have a high proficiency in English, be skillful in writing and proofreading, and be able to proofread independently the translated articles by translators; those with previous experience in text proofreading are preferred;
3. An eligible applicant shall be given priority in employment if he/she has reached a certain level of proficiency in Chinese, has a strong understanding of Chinese culture, and/or has passed the highest level of HSK test; those skilled at speaking Chinese are also preferred;
4. An eligible applicant shall be familiar with the discourse systems in the fields of society, economy, cultural tourism, policies, etc., and can finish proofreading and editing articles concerning one or more of the aforementioned fields;
5. An eligible applicant shall have strong teamwork and communication skills, be able to proactively communicate with the colleagues concerned when encountering problems, and be able to complete the unexpected tasks in time;
6. An eligible applicant shall be skilled at using various kinds of office software;
7. Those with previous experience in media are preferred.
