Job Details:

Responsibilities:

l Plan, prepare, and teach
well-developed lessons English (Critical
Reading & Academic Writing )to undergraduate students based on the
curriculum provided by the school

l Select and sequence appropriate
materials, resources, and approaches according to the course/ content area and
the needs of learners

l Provide adequate number of quizzes
and tests to assess students (formative and summative assessments) and provide
relevant and timely feedback on performance to students and academic personnel
at the International Programs management of JI Teaching Committee

l Maintain current lesson plans,
assessment data (i.e., grades), and attendance records

l Counsel students who are failing
to attend. Report to the proper
authorities for corrective action

l Utilize teaching technology when
available and appropriate

l Workload: 18-24 classes (40mins
per class); Office time: 2 hours per week)

Qualifications:

l Master’s degree in Education or a
related field (minimum)

l Ph.D. degree in Education or a
related field (preferred)

l Two years teaching experience
teaching education related courses at the University level

l English native speaker

l Capability to solve problems in an
academic environment

l Capacity for prioritizing
conflicting demands

l Demonstrates good critical thinking
skills to understand student and staff issues

l Ability to be flexible when
situations demand

Basic computer literacy
especially in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
