Responsibilities:

-Establishing and managing animal facilities for non-human primates and rodents.
-Implementing the general animal welfare ethics, Center's specialized experimental animal welfare and management rules.
-Ensuring the care of the animals together with an experienced colleague:
-Diagnosis and treatment of all diseases occurring in these species.
-Treatment of injuries and wounds.
-Monitoring the state of health.
-Carrying out curative operations.
-Performing and supervising anesthesia, post-operative monitoring.
-Medical care of the animals under general anesthesia.
-Support in the preparation of applications for animal experiments.
-Advice and training of international scientific staff.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree or above
-Knowledge of anatomy and physiology of all common laboratory animals.
-Knowledge of laws and regulations affecting the use of animals in biomedical research.
-Knowledge of sanitation, sterilization, and biohazard control techniques.
-Strong responsiblity for the work and compliance with national guidelines and regulations.
-Strong motivation for taking care of the well-being of the experimental animals.
-Excellent learning, communication and coordination ability, analysis and judgment.
-Work rigorously and conscientiously, with the strong sense of responsibility and teamwork spirit.
-more than 1 year experience in veterinary work (preferable)
-knowledge of English language (speaking and writing)
-On-call duty at weekends (in rotation)
