Responsibilities:

Lead a team responsible for tax accounting, filings, and statutory compliance
Ensure accurate and timely tax reporting in line with local regulations and internal policies
Partner with internal stakeholders to design and improve tax processes
Drive process optimisation and digitalisation initiatives within tax operations
Manage tax audits, inspections, and communication with relevant authorities
Provide tax advisory support to business teams to mitigate risks and support decision-making
Build and maintain relationships with external auditors and government authorities
Develop and implement team KPIs, performance reviews, and capability-building plans
Coach and develop team members to strengthen talent pipeline
Lead or contribute to regional and global finance transformation projects
Handle ad hoc finance and tax-related assignments

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
Professional qualification (e.g. CPA, ACCA or equivalent) preferred
Minimum 8 years' experience in tax and accounting, ideally within multinational companies or professional firms
Prior team management experience is required
Strong knowledge of PRC tax regulations and IFRS
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle)
Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
Proactive, results-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure
Good command of English (written and spoken)
