We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented native English speaker to join our editorial team, primarily responsible for the meticulous editing and proofreading of high-quality English-language books, especially those translated from Chinese. 1.深度编辑与审校 (Substantive Editing & Proofreading): 对译自中文的英文图书稿件进行深度审阅、编辑和润色，确保内容语言地道流畅、准确无误、符合目标读者习惯，并保持原作风格与精髓。 (Conduct thorough editing and proofreading of English book manuscripts translated from Chinese, ensuring the language is fluent, natural, error-free, idiomatically appropriate for the target audience, and faithful to the original style and essence.)
2.质量把关 (Quality Assurance): 识别并修正语法、拼写、标点、句法、术语一致性、事实准确性及整体行文流畅性问题。 (Identify and correct grammatical, spelling, punctuation, syntactical errors, ensure terminology consistency, factual accuracy, and overall coherence and flow.)
3.语言与文化适调 (Language & Cultural Adaptation): 确保翻译内容在目标文化语境中自然、得体、易于理解。 (Ensure translated content is natural, appropriate, and easily understandable within the target cultural context.)
4.协作沟通 (Collaboration & Communication): 与翻译团队、项目编辑及相关部门密切协作，清晰传达修改建议，并有效解决审校过程中发现的问题。 (Work closely with translators, project editors, and relevant departments, clearly communicating revisions and effectively resolving issues identified during the editing process.)

Qualifications:

1.语言要求 (Language):
o英语为母语。 (Native speaker of English.)
o熟练使用中文（听说读写）是显著优势，能阅读和理解中文原文将大大有助于审校工作。 (Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (all aspects) is a strong advantage; ability to read and understand the Chinese source text will significantly enhance the editing process.)
2.教育背景 (Education):
o拥有经认证大学颁发的硕士或以上学位。 (A minimum of a master's degree from an accredited college or university.)
o专业方向：英语语言文学、编辑出版学、新闻传播学、翻译学或相关领域优先。 (Major in English Literature/Linguistics, Publishing/Editing, Journalism/Communication, Translation Studies or a related field preferred.)
3.工作经验 (Experience):
o必备：至少5年在图书出版、学术出版或专业编辑服务领域从事英文编辑、审校或翻译（中译英）的相关工作经验。 (Essential: Minimum 5 years of proven experience in English editing, proofreading, or Chinese-to-English translation within book publishing, academic publishing, or professional editorial services.)
o拥有处理复杂或专业性较强文本（如人文社科、学术著作、文学作品等）的经验者优先。 (Experience working with complex or specialized texts (e.g., humanities & social sciences, academic works, literary works) is highly desirable.)
4.优先条件 (Preferred Qualifications):
o拥有图书编辑、项目编辑或出版项目经理经验。 (Experience as a book editor, project editor, or publishing project manager.)
o熟悉出版流程和行业标准。 (Familiarity with publishing workflows and industry standards.)
