Responsibilities:

1. Offer courses in translation and interpreting;
2. 4 periods per week class hours and each 2 periods for undergraduates and postgraduates respectively;
3. Co-work with T&I teachers to help improve students’ English rendition;
4. Establish a thorough understanding of the language service industry, and analyze students’ data and give suggestions regarding students’ language quality;
5. Other work assigned by the faculty.

Qualifications:

1. Ph.D. from internationally recognized university, native English speaker
2. Assistant professor preferred
3. More than 3 years of teaching experience in similar courses in mainland China or Hong Kong/ Macao
4. Clean criminal record check
5. Good health status
6. Professional, positive, and culturally aware
7. Team-player and able to learn from working
