Foreign Overseas Sales Manager (Lighting Industry)

J&T Lighting is specialized in designing, manufacturing and supplying lighting-related products through worldwide range. With the head office in Hongkong and the sales office in Shanghai, J&T Lighting operates its two factories in Ningbo Zhejiang province with an R&D team of over 15 engineers, TUV standard laboratory, a full range of equipment including die-casting, CNC machining, plastic injection molding, stamping, sheet metal fabrication, powder coating, SMT, wave soldering, etc.

J&T Lighting provides one-stop custom-built services on lighting parts, components and luminaires including molding & tooling, metal parts, plastic parts, LED boards, control boards, custom luminaire assembly, etc. We can develop and produce the custom products according to clients’ design drawings. In addition, our R&D team is fully capable of turning clients’ initial concepts or specifications into the actual designs and real products.

Job Details:

Responsibilities:

-Develop and execute sales strategies for the lighting-related product line in assigned overseas markets to achieve monthly sales targets.

-Lead the development of new customers and maintain long-term relationships with key existing clients; Resolve customer complaints and cooperation issues in a timely manner.

-Make phone calls to develop new potential customers; Communicate with customers via phone calls, E-mails, social media platforms, etc.

-Participate in important overseas industry exhibitions (e.g., Frankfurt Light + Building, Hong Kong International Lighting Fair) and customer visit activities to develop new business.

-Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth execution of sales orders, including order confirmation, production scheduling, delivery, and payment collection.

-Conduct in-depth market research: track market demand, competitor dynamics (pricing, product features, promotion strategies), and industry trends in the lighting sector; Provide data support and suggestions for company product upgrades and marketing adjustments.


Qualifications:

-Education Background: Bachelor’s degree or above, major in International Trade, Business Administration, Electrical Engineering(lighting-related), or a related field is preferred.

-Work Experience: Graduates or 1-5 years of overseas sales experience in the lighting industry is a plus.

-Language Skills: Fluent in English (listening, speaking, reading, writing) – able to independently conduct business negotiations, draft proforma invoices or contracts, and communicate with international clients; Proficiency in other languages (e.g., Spanish, German, French, Italian, etc) corresponding to target markets is highly preferred.

-Professional Knowledge: Familiar with lighting product categories, technical parameters, and application scenarios; understand international trade processes(import/export customs clearance, logistics, payment terms like T/T, L/C) and relevant certifications (e.g., CE, UL, ETL, RoHS for lighting products).

-Competencies: Strong target orientation, market development ability, and team leadership; Good ability to work under pressure; Proactive, with excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

-Other Requirements: Willing to accept overseas business trips; has a valid passport and no restrictions on international travel.
