Toweringly standing in the East, rooted in Yan'an. On October 25, 1945, Chairman Mao Zedong met with the key leaders of Yan'an University and instructed the school to move northeast and establish a new type of Northeast University. In February 1946, Northeast University was established in Benxi, Liaoning, becoming the first comprehensive university created by the Communist Party in the northeastern region. In July 1949, it was relocated to Changchun, Jilin, and renamed Northeast Normal University in April 1950. In September 1996, NENU one of the first universities given priority in construction in the 211 Project. In June 2004, the graduate school was established with the approval of the Ministry of Education. In 2007, it was selected as a national 985 Project Innovation Platform for Dominant Disciplines. In September 2017, NENU was among the first batch of universities selected for the national Double First-Class Initiative.

Job Profile:

The Business School at Northeast Normal University (NENU), China is hiring faculty to teach English and business related courses on NENU campus, starting from spring Semester, 2026. Master's degree or above and with at least two year teaching experience (either in English Language, or in Accounting, Management, Finance or Economics) are required. The employee will teach 14-16 hours per week, and provide office hours once a week, one or two academic lectures to the faculty or students per semester, and to join faculty meetings if necessary.
Once the work contract is signed with NENU, the employee is not allowed to take part-time positions at other institutions.
NENU Business School will pay a salary of RMB 20000-30000 per month, depending on the employee’s qualification and working experience, plus a round-trip airfare, medical insurance, office space, etc. Accommodation and food will be covered by the employee him/herself.
