On October 31st, the Nanjing Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, in conjunction with the Jiangning Development Zone, held the third International Talent Supply-Demand Matching event of the year. Nearly 40 foreign talents from 17 countries, including Indonesia, Malaysia, and Bangladesh, visited the Jiangning "BRAIN BAY" for in-depth exchanges with park enterprises.
The foreign talents first visited the BRAIN BAY Jiangning Innovation and Entrepreneurship Service Center, experiencing firsthand the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem and one-stop service environment meticulously crafted by the Jiangning Development Zone for international professionals. During the enterprise promotion session, three leading companies – Nanjing TIANFU Software Co., Ltd., Nanjing Jier Marine Engineering Co., Ltd., and CINAVAL took turns presenting, showcasing their innovative strengths and development prospects in the fields of industrial simulation, port ship fenders, and industrial automation, respectively. They also released 23 positions targeting foreign talent, such as Machine Learning Algorithm Engineer, Development Engineer, Test Engineer, and International Market Business Manager, which attracted significant attention. On-site, representatives from the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, the Municipal Public Security Bureau, and the Jiangning Development Zone also provided detailed explanations of the latest policies concerning work permits, visas, residency, work internships, and the introduction of foreign talent, allowing the attendees to fully appreciate Nanjing's sincerity in attracting talent.
During the networking session, foreign talents actively asked questions, creating a lively atmosphere. Policy experts and enterprise representatives enthusiastically addressed inquiries ranging from work permit applications and career development paths to job requirements and living facilities. Riya from Southeast University commented, "The event was incredibly informative and rewarding. By visiting the park and interacting directly with companies, we gained a more intuitive understanding of Nanjing's employment opportunities and policy support, strengthening our confidence in developing our careers here." Omar from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics thanked the organizers for providing such a meaningful event for foreign talent.
The event also featured the newly launched "Charming Nanjing" comprehensive service platform for foreign talent. This platform integrates policy interpretation, job recruitment, and life guides into a "one-stop" service function, serving as a "digital bridge" for foreign talent to learn about Nanjing.
