Starting December 8, Guangzhou Metro has implemented stricter security measures for passenger safety. All items brought into the metro stations must now go through security scanners, following the rule of "people through the door, items through the machine." If any alarm is triggered by the security checks, staff will conduct manual inspections and bag checks to ensure safety before allowing passengers to proceed.
