Jiangyin People's Hospital was founded in 1897. Over more than a century of development, the hospital has won numerous honors: in 1997, it was awarded the title of "Top Ten Hospitals of Jiangsu Province"; in 1999, it was rated as one of the "Top Hundred Hospitals in China"; in 2004, it was recognized as a "Basic Modernization Hospital of Jiangsu Province"; in 2011, it was rated as a "Grade III Level B Hospital"; in 2017, it became one of the first batch of county-level "Grade III Level A General Hospitals" in Jiangsu Province; in 2022, it entered Grade A in the National Performance Assessment for Grade III Public Hospitals; and in 2024, it rose to Grade A+ nationwide.

The hospital is currently the Affiliated Hospital of Southeast University Medical School, the Affiliated Hospital of Nantong University, Jiangyin Clinical College of Xuzhou Medical University, and Jiangyin Clinical Medical College of Jiangsu University. It is also a "Strategic Cooperative Hospital" of Jiangsu Province Hospital. In terms of scientific research and teaching, the hospital is a National Standardized Residency Training Base, a National Drug Clinical Trial Institution, and a National Clinical Pharmacist Training Base. In terms of information technology, the hospital has reached Level 6 in the Electronic Medical Record System Functional Application Level Grading, Level 4A in the National Medical and Health Information Interoperability Standardization Maturity Assessment, and Level 3 in the Hospital Smart Service Grading Assessment. In terms of hospital management, the hospital is a provincial pilot unit for establishing and improving the modern hospital management system and a pilot unit for high-quality development of public hospitals in Jiangsu Province.

The hospital launched the "one hospital, two campuses" operation model in 2018. The Chengzhong Campus covers an area of 60.89 mu, with a building area of 183,100 square meters; the Yushanwan Campus (new campus) covers an area of 210.57 mu, with a building area of 229,300 square meters. The two campuses have a total of 2,200 open beds. It currently has 11 Jiangsu Provincial Clinical Key Specialties (Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Cardiovascular Internal Medicine, Neurology, Respiratory Internal Medicine, Oncology, Gastroenterology, Pediatrics, Anesthesiology, Medical Imaging, and Ultrasound Diagnosis), 1 Jiangsu Provincial Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinical Key Specialty (Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Oncology); 14 Wuxi Municipal Clinical Medicine Key Specialties (General Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, General Practice, Emergency Medicine, Gynecology, Neonatology, Obstetrics, Burns, Interventional Radiology, Urology, Endocrinology, Nephrology, Hematology, and Critical Care Medicine), and 1 Wuxi Municipal Traditional Chinese Medicine Key Specialty Construction Unit (Spleen and Stomach Diseases). With strong technical strength, the hospital routinely carries out diagnosis and treatment technologies such as Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO), radioactive seed implantation, tumor ablation, cochlear implantation, autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, cardiovascular disease intervention, deep and whole-body hyperthermia for tumors, neurovascular intervention, neuroendoscopy, respiratory endoscopy, digestive endoscopy, nasal endoscopy, and laryngopharyngeal endoscopy. At present, there is 1 member of the Chinese Medical Association Professional Committee, 11 members and 8 youth members of the Jiangsu Medical Association Professional Committee, 5 chairmen and 45 vice-chairmen of the Wuxi Medical Association Professional Committee.

The hospital firmly implements the strategy of strengthening the hospital through science and education, and is committed to building a highland for scientific research and teaching. The hospital has been approved as a Jiangsu Provincial Postdoctoral Innovation Practice Base, a Wuxi Municipal Key Laboratory of Clinical Application of Biomaterials, a cultivation and construction site of the Xuzhou Medical University Key Laboratory of Multidisciplinary Intersection of Digestive Tract Tumor Radiotherapy and Immunity, and a Nantong University Clinical Collaboration Center. The hospital's teaching system is complete. As a Jiangsu Provincial Graduate Work Station, it has 1 doctoral program and 12 master's programs. Patients may choose any appointment method at their own discretion.

I. Jiankang Jiangyin Appointment Registration Procedure:

1. Appointment time limit ≤ 7 days;
2. Search for "Jiankang Jiangyin" in the WeChat official account, or scan the QR code at the hospital registration window, and add "Follow" to subscribe.
3. Local insured patients should sign the contract first and then log in to make an appointment; self-paying patients should register first and then log in to make an appointment;
4. Click "Online Consultation," select "Appointment Registration," then select "Jiangyin People's Hospital," and then successively select "Specialty, Expert, Visit Time Period" and "Confirm Appointment." After successful appointment, the system will automatically send an SMS;
5. On the visit day, sign in half an hour in advance according to the appointment time period, and then go to the corresponding department for sequential consultation.

II. WeChat Appointment Registration Procedure:

Select "Region," "Hospital," "Department," "Expert" or "General Clinic," then select "Visit Date," fill in patient information, obtain the SMS verification code, submit, and after successful appointment, the system will automatically send an SMS;
3. Or dial "95169" for telephone appointment. Appointment time: 8:30-17:30 (working days); after connecting, please follow the prompts. For the "X" in the ID card number, please use the "*" key instead. After successful appointment, the system will automatically send an SMS;
4. On the visit day, go to the hospital half an hour in advance according to the appointment time period and convert the number with the card (at the registration window). Self-paying patients without a card should first apply for a card at the window and then convert the number, and then go to the corresponding department for sequential consultation.

IV. Telephone Appointment Registration Procedure:

1. Appointment time limit ≤ 7 days. Appointment time: 8:00-11:30, 13:30-17:00 (working days);
2. Dial the appointment telephone number: 0510-86870661. After connecting, inform the staff of the ID card number, visit date, department, doctor, and contact telephone number; the staff will make an appointment according to the patient's needs. V. On-site Appointment Registration Procedure:

1. Appointment time limit ≤ 7 days. Appointment time: 8:00-17:00;
2. Go to the Patient Service Station in the hospital outpatient hall for real-name appointment, and inform the staff of the ID card number, visit date, department, doctor, and contact telephone number; the staff will make an appointment according to the patient's needs. 3. After successful appointment, the staff will print the "Appointment Registration Slip";

VI. Self-service Appointment Registration Procedure:

1. Appointment time limit: one day in advance. Appointment time: 7:00-16:30;
2. Insert the card (Social Security Card / Self-pay Card) into the hospital self-service registration machine, click "Outpatient Appointment," select "Chengzhong Campus / Yushanwan Campus," "General Clinic" / "Expert Clinic," "Department," "Specialty," "Morning" / "Afternoon," "Expert," click "Confirm Appointment," select the corresponding payment method to pay the registration fee, and print the "Jiangyin People's Hospital Appointment Voucher."
3. On the visit day, go directly to the corresponding department for sequential consultation half an hour in advance according to the appointment time period.

VII. In-consultation Room Appointment Registration Procedure

1. Appointment time limit ≤ 30 days. Appointment time: 8:00-11:30; 13:30-17:00;
2. After the consultation, the attending doctor will make a real-name appointment according to the patient's situation;
3. After successful appointment, the doctor will print the "Appointment Registration Slip";
4. On the visit day, go to the hospital half an hour in advance according to the appointment time period, convert the number with the card, and then go to the corresponding department for sequential consultation.

VIII. Post-discharge Follow-up Appointment Registration Procedure:

1. Appointment time limit ≤ 3 months. Appointment time: 8:00-11:30; 13:30-17:00;
2. On the discharge day, the bed doctor of the ward will make a real-name appointment;
3. After successful appointment, print the "Appointment Registration Slip";
4. On the visit day, go to the hospital half an hour in advance according to the appointment time period, convert the number with the card, and then go to the corresponding department for sequential consultation.

IX. Intra-group Appointment Registration Procedure:

1. Appointment time limit ≤ 14 days. Appointment time: 8:00-11:30; 13:30-17:00;
2. The doctor of the medical institution within the group will make a real-name appointment according to the patient's situation;
3. After successful appointment, print the "Appointment Registration Slip";
4. On the visit day, go to the hospital half an hour in advance according to the appointment time period and convert the number with the card ("Jiankang Jiangyin" appointment requires mobile phone sign-in half an hour in advance, no need to convert the number), and then go to the corresponding department for sequential consultation.

Remarks:

1. Our hospital implements real-name appointment registration, supporting valid certificates such as ID cards, passports, Exit-Entry Permits for Traveling to and from Hong Kong and Macao, and Mainland Travel Permits for Taiwan Residents for appointment.
2. All appointment numbers are released for appointment at 7:00 on the first day of the opening period.
3. Successful applicants must, on the visit day, hold the "Social Security Card" or "Jiangyin Medical Service Visit Card" and go to the "Registration Office" or "Self-service Machine" to convert the number half an hour in advance according to the appointment time period. If the number conversion time period is missed, the number source will be invalidated and regarded as a no-show; self-service machine appointments do not require number conversion, and patients can go directly to the corresponding department for consultation; Jiankang Jiangyin appointments do not require number conversion, and patients can sign in with their mobile phone or QR code and go directly to the corresponding department for consultation.
4. If an expert suspends consultation, generally a doctor of the same level will substitute; if there is no substitute, the system will promptly send an SMS to inform the patient.
5. Patients should wait for consultation half an hour in advance according to the appointment time period. Those who cannot visit as scheduled for some reason may cancel the appointment by calling 0510-86879999 (7:30-17:00) or 0510-86879038 (17:00-7:30) one day before the visit; they may also cancel the appointment by themselves through the Internet or WeChat (limited to Internet, WeChat, and Jiankang Jiangyin appointments). If there are three cumulative no-shows in a natural year (January 1 to December 31 of the current year), the appointment qualification for the current year will be cancelled.
