From USA to Xiamen: A journey of friendship

Xiamen hosted the six-day "Friendships of Xiamen: U.S. Youth Ambassadors in Xiamen 2025" from July 17 to 22. Twenty-seven young people, teachers, and friendly delegates from Baltimore, Maryland, and Orange County, California, the United States — sister cities of Xiamen — paired up with 17 Chinese youngsters for a series of hands-on activities. Together, they experienced the unique charm of Xiamen’s eco-friendly environment and modern urban life, embarking on a journey of cultural discovery and friendship-building.
