The 85th anniversary of the Flying Tigers' arrival in China to fight in the War of Resistance was marked on July 16 at the Nanjing Anti-Japanese Aviation Martyrs Memorial Hall, where a search program for missing Flying Tigers personnel was also launched, appealing globally for historical records and firsthand accounts to help reconstruct the wartime experiences of these aviators who fought and fell in China's skies. Chinese and American guests, descendants of Flying Tigers veterans, and youth representatives from both nations gathered at the event to honor the fallen aviation heroes through ceremonial readings, exhibition visits, and flower-laying, while jointly conveying a heartfelt message of peace.
