Academician Allowance

 Available for:  

CAS and CAE academicians in Qingdao.

 Qualifications:  

One of the following conditions must be met:

1. Academicians residing in Qingdao: Academicians with labor and personnel relations in Qingdao or academicians employed in Qingdao who enjoy the benefits of academicians residing in Shandong;
2. Employed academicians: Other academicians employed in Qingdao and recognized by the Human Resources and Social Security Department of Shandong Province.

 Benefits:  

1.  Academicians residing in Qingdao enjoy a provincial government allowance of RMB 20,000/month and a municipal government allowance of RMB 10,000/month all the year;
2. Employed academicians enjoy a provincial government allowance of RMB 20,000/month and a municipal government allowance of RMB 10,000/month based on their actual working time in Qingdao.

 Process:  

The applicant prepares relevant materials after the Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security issues the notice. The allowance will be provided after the application is approved by the Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security.

Expert Workstation Reward

 Available for:  

Recognized expert workstations.

 Qualifications:  

1. The workstations have been approved for establishment and operated for at least one year;
2. The expert workstations or scientific research achievements are rated as excellent in assessments.

 Benefits:  

1. A reward of RMB 100,000 will be given to each expert workstation assessed as an outstanding expert workstation;
2. A reward of up to RMB 50,000 will be given for each outstanding scientific research achievement.

Each year, 10 outstanding expert workstations and 5 outstanding scientific research achievements are selected for these rewards.

 Process:  

1. The Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security issues a notice for assessment, and each entity with an expert workstation submits materials;
2. Preliminary review conducted by the human resources and social security bureau of the district/county-level city where the workstation is located;
3. The Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security organizes a final review and assessment, releases the assessment result, and gives the rewards.
