Since the country's government introduced relevant policies in April this year, Shenyang has made remarkable progress in the departure tax refund. The number of tax-free stores in the city has increased significantly, rising from 34 at the end of April to 140 at present, and is projected to surpass 300 within the year, with full coverage across all core commercial areas and major shopping centers.

In June this year, a merchant in Shenyang passed system testing and successfully processed the city's first transaction under the "refund-upon-purchase" policy for an American tourist. Starting on August 8, all tax-free stores have introduced this service, enhancing the convenience and satisfaction of overseas tourists in shopping, and ensuring that they can shop in Shenyang without any hindrance and with ease.

The tax-free goods cover over 10 categories including clothing, and cultural and creative products, with more than a thousand kinds of items. Furthermore, the continuous expansion of China famous consumer products, time-honored brands and "Shenyang Gifts", provides a rich choice for overseas tourists.
