Payment Service Center for Foreigners Put into Operation

As the host city of recent top-class events such as the International Horticultural Exhibition 2024 Chengdu and the TotalEnergies BWF Thomas & Uber Cup Finals 2024, Chengdu is expected to attract a growing flow of visitors from across the world.

The Payment Service Center for foreigners, a payment service facility with the most complete functions at the airport, was put into service at Tianfu International Airport on April 23, enabling passengers to enjoy the one-stop payment services including mobile phone card application and currency exchange in the airport by just showing the passport.

At the arrival hall of Terminal 1 in Tianfu International Airport, the sign of Panda Pay, with a cute panda as its image, is installed at the Payment Service Center for foreigners, where the outlets of Bank of China, China Telecom and Ctrip Currency Exchange are lined up in a row with services such as phone card application, currency exchange, ATM cash withdrawal and mobile payment opening assistance. Among them, Bank of China mainly provides ATM cash withdrawal, currency exchange self-service, debit card account opening on appointment, and mobile payment opening assistance services; China Telecom provides convenient services for phone card application, while Ctrip Currency Exchange provides two-way exchange services for up to 41 foreign currencies, and also provides small-amount foreign currency exchange packs and RMB exchange packs.
