Nov 01, 2025

Recently, a group of 16 online influencers and media representatives from countries and regions, such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Russia, Canada, France, and Germany, participated in the second season of the "Xinjiang in Four Seasons·Encountering Kunlun" program. They successively visited Urumqi City, Hotan Prefecture, Kizilsu Kirgiz Autonomous Prefecture, and Kashi Prefecture in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, to experience and document the beauty of Xinjiang.
French photographer Jeremy Grinan, who has lived in China for 15 years, visited Xinjiang for the first time. He admitted that he had been full of anticipation before the trip. After experiencing it firsthand, he was amazed by Xinjiang's vast landscapes, vibrant life, and diverse music. Jeremy noted that what makes Xinjiang unique is that "it's not the destination, it's the loop." He also shared how his lens captured the energy and joy of the local people.

When addressing inaccurate reports by Western media, he stated that Xinjiang has been developing and improving year by year. He also encouraged international travelers to see it for themselves-- "If you hesitate, guys, you know nothing about China." In his view, Xinjiang is full of vitality, and the people here are friendly and warm-hearted. "Music is a universal language," he added. This trip also provided him with valuable travel experience in Xinjiang. He also suggested traveling by car with local friends, which can help you truly experience the authenticity and beauty of this land.
