New Talent Subsidy Policy in Hengqin, Guangdong! Applications Open from June 1

The application process for the 2026 annual living subsidies for academic, professional technical, and skilled talents, as well as Macao youth, in the Hengqin-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone has commenced, with the submission period running from June 1 to June 30. Eligible Macao youth can receive a maximum living subsidy of ¥270,000, while academic and professional technical talents may receive up to ¥180,000, and skilled talents can obtain a maximum of ¥60,000. Applicants must be employed by enterprises or institutions legally registered in the Hengqin-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone with substantive operations during the application year. Eligible candidates include those holding full-time undergraduate or postgraduate degrees (inclusive) from regular higher education, professional technical talents with assistant-level (inclusive) or higher professional titles, and high-skilled talents with advanced (inclusive) national occupational qualifications (excluding in-service personnel of party and government agencies, public institution staff under the same system, and enterprise leaders whose positions are equated to party and government ranks). Applicants may log in to the Hengqin-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone Enterprise and Public Service Platform, select "2026 Annual Living Subsidies for Academic, Professional Technical, Skilled Talents, and Macao Youth in the Hengqin-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone," and click "Apply Now.".
