Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University

The Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University, founded in 1898, has seen the four historical periods –Germany conquered period, Japan conquered period, the Republic of China and the People’s Republic of China, is a provincial comprehensive third-grade class-A hospital, which integrates medical care, teaching, scientific research, prevention, health care, rehabilitation and business and technology guidance, etc.

The hospital has five campus, including the hospital in Shinan campus, Laoshan campus, West Coast campus, Shibei campus and Pingdu campus. The five campus are all administrated under the central leadership and develop together with their specialties and advantages, respectively. The outpatient medical and emergency medical care ranks first in Shandong Province, and ranked “the Top 100 Best Hospital List in China” for four concecutive years.

The hospital has clinical business departments of all spetialties, research offices (institutes), key disciplines of state, province and municipal, laboratories and around 40 specialties. It is a doctoral training unit for clinical medicine and primary nursing science, with the center for post-doctoral studies on clinical medicine and primary nursing science.
