Yichang Sanxia International Airport (IATA: YIH, ICAO: ZHYC) is situated at the confluence of Yunchi Sub-district in Xiaoting District, Yaqueling Town in Yiling District, and Anfusi Town in Zhijiang County, approximately 22 kilometers northwest of downtown Yichang. Functioning as a 4D-level feeder airport for international tourism, it first began operations on December 28, 1996, after relocating from the original Yichang Tumengya Airport. The runway was extended to 3,200 meters on February 24, 2022, and the T2 terminal officially opened on June 23, 2022. Furthermore, on April 17, 2024, the airport was rebranded as Yichang Sanxia International Airport.
