Xiamen initiates cross-border visa-free cooperation for consecutive tourism for foreigners

In May 2025, Xiamen, together with eight key tourist cities including Guiyang, Guilin, Shenyang, Shenzhen, Taiyuan, Suining, Nanping and Xiangxi Prefecture, jointly launched the "240-hour visa-free consecutive tourism cooperation for foreigners". As the only city with two ports in Fujian Province, Xiamen has two applicable ports for the 240-hour visa-free policy: Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport Port and Xiamen Sea Port (Passenger). Since the implementation of the fully relaxed and optimized 240-hour visa-free policy at the end of 2024, foreign tourists in Xiamen can enjoy a visa-free stay of up to 10 days. This policy has opened a new window for international tourists to deeply experience Xiamen.
