Wang Wei's Jiading Bamboo Carving Exhibition

For over four decades, Wang Wei has rooted himself in tradition while continually refining his bamboo carving skills. He broke through the limitations of the simplistic styles and monotonous techniques that had characterized Jiading Bamboo Carving since the late Qing Dynasty, boldly employing methods such as openwork carving, deep engraving, and thin ground relief carving in his creations.
