Shenzhen’s first-ever customized cycling shuttle service is now officially on the road. Launched by Shenzhen Bus Group on Sept. 6, the service aims to make long-distance cycling and hiking more convenient by combining public transit with outd oor activity. Services are currently available by group-charter booking only.

Designed for riders, with bikes in mind
The new shuttles are built for convenience and comfort. Each bus features extra floor space for riders to change clothes, adjust gear, or simply stretch out. Some users even say they can nap on the return trip — instead of battling post-ride traffic.
The buses are also equipped with vertical bike racks that can hold up to 10 bicycles, with soft rubber contact points to protect bike frames. Staff assist with loading and unloading, and the interiors feature non-slip flooring for added safety in wet conditions.
A reporter from Shenzhen Special Zone Daily described the onboard experience as spacious, clean, and rider-friendly.

Easy to book, easy to ride
Shenzhen Bus Group offers both cycling and hiking routes under a “fixed route + group reservation” model. However services are currently available by group-charter booking only. This allows passengers to plan active outings with friends, clubs, or family — without worrying about long city transits.
