Writing calligraphy, eating dried sweet potatoes, learning Chinese…… On this day, a media delegation from Sri Lanka visited Langtou Village in Huadu, Guangzhou, immersing themselves in Lingnan countryside vibe.

Langtou Village has a history of nearly 700 years. There are more than 300 well-preserved ancient buildings in the village. It is the largest preserved Lingnan characteristic village in Guangzhou. With the concerted efforts of the government, enterprises, and village collectives, Langtou Village has been revitalized and has become one of the brightest business cards showcasing the achievement of Guangdong rural villages development.

Beautiful homestays, Chinese restaurant, ChunYangTai Art and Cultural Center……The members of the delegation were very interested in the rural revitalization achievements of Langtou Village. They pointed out that Sri Lanka also has many ancient villages, and the revitalization experience of Langtou Village is worth learning from and being seen by the world. They also hoped that China and Sri Lanka could reach more cooperation in culture.
