International Talent Exchange | Strengthening International Academic Exchanges, Leading Industry Innovation and Development

In order to promote the integration of Hebei's energy and environmental protection fields with international advanced technology sectors, to enhance exchanges and cooperation with overseas countries in technological innovation, and to attract more high-end overseas talents, advanced technologies, and high-quality projects to the base, on February 1, 2024, the International Energy and Environmental Protection Project Matching Meeting was successfully held. The event was organized by the Hebei Provincial Department of Science and Technology (Provincial Bureau of Foreign Experts), the Shijiazhuang Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, and the Science and Technology Bureau of Shijiazhuang High-tech Industrial Development Zone as guiding units, and hosted by the Hebei (Shijiazhuang) Offshore Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base for Overseas Professionals. More than 30 representatives from domestic and foreign enterprises in the field of energy and environmental protection participated in this matching meeting through a combination of online and offline methods.

At the meeting, overseas innovators and entrepreneurs from four countries, including Finland, the United Kingdom, and Slovenia, presented on-site four projects: the Epsil heavy metal sludge wastewater treatment and resource utilization technology, the Fs12 boiler scale inhibitor technology, cooling tower performance assessment technology, and interactive aerial imaging technology. Additionally, four projects from Slovenia and Finland were introduced through online connections. Representatives from Chinese and foreign enterprises, as well as experts and scholars, engaged in extensive discussions on the future development directions of these technological projects.
The Hebei (Shijiazhuang) Offshore Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base for Overseas Professionals will further strengthen cooperation both domestically and internationally, gather overseas innovation resources, promote high-quality exchanges and matching between Hebei enterprises and overseas high-quality technology, projects, and talents, and strive to encourage more and better overseas projects to take root and flourish in Hebei.
