Chucai Embracing Innovation, Global Collaboration Hubei Overseas High-Level Talent Exchange Series Kicks Off in London

On June 19, London time, the inaugural session of the "Chucai Embracing Innovation, Global Collaboration" overseas high-level talent recruitment exchange, organized by the Hubei Provincial Talent Development Group (hereinafter referred to as the "Hubei Talent Group"), was successfully held at King's College London with fruitful results.

As the opening event of the Hubei Talent Group's 2025 overseas talent recruitment series, this activity precisely targeted the global top-tier intellectual resources urgently needed for Hubei's development. It attracted over 50 outstanding doctoral candidates, postdoctoral researchers, and senior scholars from world-renowned institutions such as the University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, Imperial College London, University College London (UCL), and the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Their expertise closely aligned with Hubei's key industrial development directions, covering fields such as digital economy, artificial intelligence, computer science, new materials, environmental engineering, biomedicine, and chemical engineering.

Representatives from four provincial universities in Hubei were present on-site, providing detailed introductions to their respective disciplinary strengths, research platforms, and development plans. They also precisely outlined their high-level talent recruitment needs and offered one-on-one explanations of talent recruitment policies, demonstrating Hubei's sincere desire to attract talent.

Representatives from the Hubei Talent Group comprehensively promoted Hubei's high-quality living environment, dynamic talent ecosystem, and tailored full-chain service system for high-level talents. They also showcased over 3,000 high-quality positions from more than 50 key employers in the province, including universities, research institutions, and leading enterprises. This sparked strong interest and active inquiries from the attending talents, with many expressing clear intentions to pursue career opportunities in Hubei.

During the event, the Hubei Talent Group reached an important strategic cooperation agreement with the Sino-UK Deep Tech Innovation Centre. The two parties will jointly establish a talent service workstation in London, UK.
The establishment of this workstation marks Hubei's creation of a regularized and professional frontline base for talent attraction and retention in the UK. It will serve as an efficient bridge for continuously connecting with high-level talents from the UK and Europe while providing convenient services.

The "Chucai Embracing Innovation, Global Collaboration" 2025 European talent recruitment campaign officially set sail with London as its starting point. The success of the inaugural event laid a solid foundation for the year-round European talent recruitment plan.
It is reported that the Hubei Talent Group, in collaboration with the delegation from the four universities, will build on this momentum and continue to carry out a series of talent recruitment activities in five other key European scientific and innovation hubs, including Nottingham and Manchester.
