Qingdao Airport Transfer Guide

Qingdao Airport offers you three transfer options:

Domestic Flight to Domestic Flight

If you arrive at Qingdao Jiaodong Airport on a domestic flight and need to transfer to another domestic flight:

1. Through Check-in Transfer: If you have already received two boarding passes and your checked baggage has been tagged through to your final destination at your departure airport, you do not need to re-check in or retrieve your checked baggage when transferring at Qingdao Airport. You may proceed directly to the Domestic Transfer Hall on Level L2 of the terminal.
2. Non-Through Check-in Transfer: Passengers without checked baggage may proceed to the Domestic Transfer Hall on Level L2 to complete transfer procedures. Passengers with special needs, including infants under 2 years old, seniors over 75 years old, and those requiring seat adjustments, must proceed to the Domestic Transfer Counter on Level L1.

Passengers with checked baggage must retrieve their checked baggage at the Baggage Claim Hall on Level L1, and then proceed to the Domestic Transfer Counter on Level L1 to complete check-in for the connecting flight.

Note:

1. Generally, the Domestic Transfer Counter is open from 10 minutes before the scheduled arrival of the first flight of the day until the check-in closure of the last outbound flight of the day. Please refer to actual operating hours for specific details.
2. If you are traveling on airlines such as Spring Airlines or 9 Air, you must first leave the sterile area and proceed to the appropriate counters in the Domestic Departure Area on Level L4 to complete check-in. For inquiries, please call 0532-96567.

International Flight to Domestic Flight

If you arrive at Qingdao Jiaodong Airport on an international or Hong Kong, Macao, or Taiwan region flight and need to transfer to a domestic flight:

After completing entry procedures and retrieving your checked baggage, please proceed to the appropriate counters in the Domestic Departure Area on Level L4 to complete check-in for your domestic flight. For inquiries, please call 0532-96567.

Domestic Flight to International Flight

If you arrive at Qingdao Jiaodong Airport on a domestic flight and need to transfer to an international or Hong Kong, Macao, or Taiwan region flight:

After retrieving your checked baggage, please proceed to the appropriate counters in the International Departure Area on Level L4 to complete check-in for your international flight. For inquiries, please call 0532-96567.
