"Line up together people. All of us……" This traditional New Zealand Maori song has been heard throughout the Guangzhou Library. Wayne played the ukulele and sang with Guangzhou citizens to share the joy of the 35th anniversary of establishing friendship cities between Guangzhou and Auckland.

He said many Chinese in New Zealand today are injecting vitality into New Zealand's economy through entrepreneurship and investment. While they are working hard outside, they do not forget to contribute to their hometown. They act as disseminators and inheritors of Chinese culture enhancing China's influence on the world stage.
Over the past 35 years, Guangzhou and Auckland have cooperated in many aspects such as economy, trade, technology and culture and achieved fruitful results.
