Changsha Metro Lines Extend Operating Hours on September 30 and October 1

To celebrate the upcoming National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival, the Changsha Metro Group has further optimized its network operations. All metro lines in Changsha will extend their operating hours to 24:00 on September 30 and October 1, except for the Hongqiao-Xiangtan North Station section of Line 3, which will close at the regular time of 23:00.
Additionally, during the National Day holiday, the Changsha Metro Group will strengthen coordination with the Changsha South Railway Station. After regular service ends, additional trains on Line 2 may be deployed based on passenger demand, to better assist night-time passengers traveling to the city proper.
From October 1 to 8, Lines 1 and 2 will implement a "short route + long route" operating mode between 10:00 and 23:00 to enhance transport capacity in high-traffic sections.

Travel Tips
During the holiday, temporary passenger flow control measures may be in place at busy stations. Please follow station announcements, signs, and staff guidance for orderly travel.

Free-ride groups, including seniors aged 65 and above and children under 14, may present valid identification documents and use the green channel to enter the station. For faster access, passengers using QR code tickets are advised to have them ready before reaching the gate.

Due to the increased luggage volume anticipated during the holiday period, all baggage is required to undergo security checks. Passengers with large luggage are requested to use elevators for safety reasons, as a precaution against accidents on escalators.
