BJ's First 'International Friendship Ambassadors' Selected

On November 8, the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality held the launching ceremony of the "International Friendship Ambassadors" Experiencing Beijing Services. A total of 40 foreign nationals, including foreign staff at foreign companies in Beijing, foreign specialists, foreign students, and foreign media reporters, were invited to become the first "International Friendship Ambassadors".
The "International Friendship Ambassadors" Experiencing Beijing Services is a new initiative aimed at improving the level of international services in Beijing and establishing a regular communication channel with foreigners in Beijing. The "International Friendship Ambassadors" can participate in a wide range of events hosted regularly by the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality, to learn in person about Beijing's international services and offer their thoughts and advice. They can also send feedback and suggestions to the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality at any time, based on their experiences and problems they have encountered while studying, living, and working in Beijing. 
After the launching ceremony, the participants began their first offline experience trip by visiting SOLANA, China's first "inbound consumption-friendly business district", to learn about the convenient service measures in the business district by themselves. Later, they watched a performance titled "Auspicious Phoenix Facing Chaoyang" (吉凤朝阳) of the 2024 Beijing Chaoyang International Light Festival by the Liangma River at night.
