World's First Robot Consumption Festival Kicks off in Beijing

The 2025 World Robot Conference will be held from August 8 to 12 at Beiren Etrong International Exhibition and Convention Center in Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town). On August 2, Beijing E-Town officially launched the "E-Town Robot Consumption Festival" , the world's first festival themed on robot consumption.

This consumption festival is being held simultaneously at Beiren Etrong International Exhibition and Convention Center, the World of Robots, and six major business districts in Beijing E-Town. Beijing E-Town will issue exclusive consumption coupons during the event which will last until August 17.

The event has launched four major consumption scenarios, among which the world's first embodied AI robot 4S store (hereinafter referred to as the "4S store") primarily targets corporate users, providing over 50 products across seven categories including healthcare, industrial applications, companionship, and biomimicry. On the first floor of the 4S store, visitors can experience up close the real-world performances of multifunctional robots such as Tiangong 2.0 developed by the X-Humanoid (Beijing Innovation Center of Humanoid Robotics), Walker S of UBTECH Robotics, and R1 Pro of GALAXEA. In the second-floor "Futuristic Interaction Zone", visitors can engage in real-time competitions with robots like Unitree G1 and Booster T1, or play Go against a robot. The third-floor "Smart Maintenance Zone" showcases a one-stop service process for robots, encompassing component replacement, diagnostics, and remote operation and maintenance.

The Robot Restaurant is an avant-garde restaurant themed around intelligent robots, where a diverse range of service robots, such as chess-playing robots, bartender robots, and recycling robots, are operating on-site. Customers can try the various delicacies including pancakes, skewers, coffee, and more prepared by robots.

During the event, consumption coupons will be simultaneously distributed. Visitors can collect and use these coupons on-site to purchase robotic products and distinctive cultural merchandise, and taste robot-prepared delicacies. Consumers can also visit the 4S store or the World of Robots to purchase specialty products while enjoying the same discounts. For online purchases on JD.com, consumers can obtain coupons via the platform's "E-Town Robot Consumption Festival" section. Notably, individual consumers can receive a subsidy of up to CNY 1,500 for robotic purchases, while corporate consumers can receive a subsidy capped at CNY 250,000.
