Cross-Strait (Xiamen) Cultural Industries Fair wraps up

The annual Cross-Strait (Xiamen) Cultural Industries Fair concluded on November 2nd at the Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center. The four-day fair covered a total exhibition area of 60,000 square meters. Event organizers included the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the National Radio and Television Administration and the province of Fujian.
The fair highlighted cultural and tourism industry offerings spread across four major thematic zones -- fine crafts, creative design, digital audiovisual technology and cross-Strait cultural IP licensing. The fair included more than 330 activities such as forums, promotion events and roadshows.
The event included 12 themed pavilions dedicated to Taiwan, with participation from over 200 institutions, industry associations and brand companies as well as more than 500 experts and scholars, master artisans, business guests and Taiwan youth representatives. A total of 24 institutions took part for the first time, presenting exhibits in areas such as tea, lacquer art, indigenous crafts, design IP and cultural tourism consumer products.
