2026 Cross-Strait Pickleball (Hunan-Taiwan) Youth Exchange Event Held in Changsha

The 2026 Cross-Strait Pickleball (Hunan-Taiwan) Youth Internship Camp Growth Program and Cross-Strait Youth Friendly Exchange Tournament was held in Changsha and Loudi from July 2 to 8.
On the morning of July 5, the opening ceremony of the 2026 Cross-Strait Pickleball (Hunan-Taiwan) Youth Friendly Exchange Tournament was held at the 2010 Padel and Pickleball Club in Yuhua District, followed by preliminary rounds, finals, and an awards ceremony. During the tournament, young players from both sides of the Taiwan Straits competed on the same stage with determination and vigor, fully demonstrating their superb pickleball skills and a positive, united, and friendly sportsmanship. After multiple rounds of intense competition, the participating youth from both sides of the Strait built friendship through the matches, learned and progressed together, and strengthened bonds and mutual respect through athletic competition, vividly embodying the spirit of harmony, integration, and joint progress among the cross-Strait youth.

This exchange event also included the closing ceremony of the 2026 Cross-Strait Pickleball (Hunan-Taiwan) Youth Internship Camp Growth Program, free activities for guests of the pickleball exchange tournament, and a joint visit to the Hunan Museum and the Yuelu Academy.
This series of Hunan-Taiwan youth pickleball internship camp and exchange tournament activities took sports as a medium and competitions as a bridge to precisely establish a long-term cooperation platform for Hunan-Taiwan youth sports competition, interactive exchanges, and joint progress. The initiative aimed to broaden channels and create diverse opportunities for Taiwanese youth to come to Hunan for exchanges, study, and in-depth development. The event effectively closed the distance between Hunan and Taiwan youth, promoting cross-Strait youth to enhance recognition and build consensus through cultural and sports integration and mutual learning. It helped inject vitality into deepening Hunan-Taiwan exchanges and cooperation in various fields and promoting integrated development of cross-Strait youth.
