China's Golden Rooster Awards

China Golden Rooster Awards is a film award jointly organized by the China Film Directors' Association and the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles. It was established in 1981 and is an authoritative and professional film award in the Chinese film industry. It is known as one of the "Three Major Awards in Chinese-Language Cinema" along with the Hong Kong Film Awards and the Taiwan Golden Horse Awards. It is also one of the "Three Major Chinese Film Awards" along with the China's Huabiao Film Awards and Hundred Flowers Award.
The 2025 China Colden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival will be held in Xiamen in mid-November. This year marks the 130th anniversary of the birth of world cinema and the 120th anniversary of the birth of Chinese cinema. This year's festival will carefully plan a number of activities around this significant milestone. For example， during the film exhibition and forum， iconic works in the history of world and Chinese cinema will be screened， and related forum topics will be planned around "Saluting Chinese Cinema".
